        Shortly after WR MEADOWS, INC. became a reality, its founders created imaginative fiber expansion joint that set the industry standard in early 1930 for the functional longevity and cost efficiency. Fiber Expansion Joint remains the ideal for the vast majority of all applications of expansion / contraction joints. This innovative product is preformed vapor membrane SEAL PLASMA CORE or “PMPC” as specifiers and users have come to call it. “PMPC” is a true vapor seal designed and tested for its unparalleled Underslab vapor and waterproofing capabilities. Today, only vapor membrane precast SEAL BASIC PLASMA offers the lowest WVT (Water Vapor Transmission) Rating-0.00 grains / square meter. feet. / Hr. . . that is the hallmark of vapor impermeable.

        The product has a variety of other value-added features. Cut “full-loaded” costs, as “PMPC” can be placed directly on the degree of compaction of gravel without a costly or sand base.         A solvent-based FULL CURING AND SEALING SYSTEM IS DEVELOPED AND EVOLVE

        Curing and Sealing CompoundsEarly construction program in the liquid development, R & D Meadows’ people made complete curing and sealing of the participation of two products: CS-309 ™ curing and sealing compound and acrylic sealant TIAH ® Acrylic Concrete. The original CS-309 and TIAH remains a popular system for nearly 25 years, until the application of the federal EPA Architectural requirements of the standard took effect coatings.

        Easy to use, solvent-based products meet the VOC

        After the regulations of the U.S. EPA entered into force, WR MEADOWS replaced the pair with two high-performance, standalone products. CS-309-25 (formerly CS-309) and TIAH can be used individually to obtain excellent results.

        Today, these popular products are solvent based VOC compliant and comply with the regulations of the U.S. EPA. When applied correctly, TIAH and CS-309-25 provide a long duration, not yellow, waterproof seal to retain moisture. Both products offer hard concrete, strength, dense, high compression, which provides excellent resistance against foot traffic or vehicular use. They also offer better resistance to rain, sun, freezing temperatures, most acids and industrial chemicals, oil, grease, deicing salts, cleaning agents (except aromatic solvents), caustics, abrasions construction, airborne soot, dust and other contaminants.

        MEADOWS PIONEERS OF LOW-solvent, water based PRODUCTS TO PREVENT POLLUTION

        WR MEADOWS has been very concerned for nearly two decades about building products that contribute to environmental pollution. The company is particularly concerned with high levels of solvents present in most liquids construction.

        As a manufacturer, WR MEADOWS decided to attack this problem with their own resources. Research the company and product development capabilities were redirected and focused on the goal of developing concrete construction liquids that do not harm the environment. A second goal, which goes hand in hand with the first, is to offer products designed to improve the worker’s environment.

        Efforts Meadows’ was worth it. The first of a wide range of real water-based products that do not harm the environment emerged in the 1980s. These newcomers, and those that followed, it quickly became a product line marked in the “green line” ®.

        VOCOMP VOCOMP ® -20 and-25 water based, curing and sealing of acrylic have been the cornerstone of the “green line”. They are known for lasting performance, and features excellent high gloss.

        The “green line”, now has about sixty products that offer very low solvent content. Many “Green Line” products are so unique that their formulas are proprietary.

        The broad product line consists of concrete curing, sealing, hardening, cleaning, degreasing, anti-evolution, dust-proof, and the injection level of protection compounds, concrete accelerators fixed dampproofers, bonding agents , concrete release agents,, patching, resurfacing restoration products, evaporation retardants, surface primers and composite bituminous concrete surface treatment. The water-based compounds even more effective than solvent-based products used previously. Contractors prefer user-friendly “Green Line” products because they are easy to mix and apply. Most products are designed for spray application and can be readily cleaned with soap and water while still wet.

        WR MEADOWS offers a premium line of products for the construction of the indoor pool.

        Products are assembled under the banner DECK-O-SEAL ®.

        The SEAL DECK-O-original, a wash, self-leveling, two-part, polysulfide-based elastomeric joint selant is recognized as an industry standard. The product is also available in a single component.

        DECK-O-SEAL products include drainage systems, control joints of decorative vinyl covers, expansion joints, foam-filled expansion joints, support bars, etc.

        MEADOWS entered the new millennium with an exciting and revolutionary cold applied, single component joint sealant HORIZONTAL.

        In 2000, WR MEADOWS introduced SAFE-SEAL ® 3405, the first and only cold ready to use, one component, horizontal joint sealant to meet or exceed the demanding performance characteristics of ASTM D 3405 . Here, finally, public and private sectors have a revolutionary alternative, “cool” and safe designed to save time and money. To apply, teams do not require special training wear, or protective equipment to handle the airport taxiway, aprons, roads, parking and pavement maintenance.
